An 80g floating stickbait designed to easily produce a tight ‘S’ swim with controlled rod sweeps, a seductive kicking action when straight wound and erratic movements when twitched.
The potshot range is based on the same original body shape, but tweaked and tuned for each size to bring out the most in them, and make each size unique.
The 180 sits deeper in the water than traditional more buoyant stickbaits for extreme ease of use in rougher water, and allowing it to handle very strong sweeps for its size, a great alternative option for your arsenal.
Features a handmade, timber body fitted with strong 1.6mm stainless steel through wire, the thinner (but still absurdly tough) wire frees up the body for a stronger action, finished with a thick epoxy exterior giving a deadly combination of looks and strength. As with all handmade lures with natural materials, expect a few grams variation either side.
Best run with the following hooks:
Most balanced action: 4/0 belly treble + 7/0 tail single
Erratic action: 7/0 singles (great for calm water)
Tighter, slower action: 3/0 – 4/0 trebles
