All Tenryu rods are made in the Tenryu factory in Nagano, Japan. Tenryu rods have been made since the 1960's so you can be confident in the quality, finish and most importantly the performance is what you would expect from one of Japan's premier rod makers.

The Tenryu Brigade Flip series is intended for the serious Egi fisherman whereby a heavier 3.5 squid jig is intended, particularly for deeper water. However the Brigade Flip is also heavily suited to light tackle shore and rock fishing, as well as bay fishing whereby a longer rod profile is preferred to keep line away from the boat/engine.

• Suitable for EGI(#3.5). Specialized for deep area, heavy current, and monster Aori squid.
• Effective for hard jerk method. Magna-Flex construction gives sensitive tip for catch the short bite and feel the current conditions.
• Stress free guide system even 20Lbs shock leader. Easy to control around 5/8～1oz(18～28g) rigs, and 30g metal jig for cutlass fish and Spanish mackerel.
