Tenryu Spike XPG 8'3" Heavy (PE 8 - PE 10)

Tenryu Japan has been producing rods in their own factory based in the prefecture of Nagano for nearly 60 years. During this time the materials have changed from Bamboo to glass fibre and then onto high grade Japanese graphite. They have developed many different techniques over time even incorporating Japanese traditional textiles to add strength and visual appeal to the rods. All rods are made from scratch in the Tenryu factory from cutting, glueing and rolling the blanks right up to final assembly.

  • Comfortable to use stick bait and swimming popper from 60~70g up to 150g with PE 8~10.
  • Double-wrapping on #1~3 guides and triple-wrapping on #4~6 guides makes enough strength to fight with big TUNA.
  • Assist fore grip, FUJI gimbal(GC22) and soft gimbal cap(BRC-GC22).
  • Top guide with ring #16 and Butt guide with ring #40.
